Norma L. Zwayer, 83, of Toledo, OH, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Flower Hospital in Sylvania.

She was born October 21, 1931, in Greencastle, IN, to John and Mable (Hane) Seeley.

Norma married her sweetie, Clifford Zwayer, on January 7, 1949. Together they raised three children and enjoyed 64 years of marriage until his death in 2012.

She was an active member for many years of the American Legion Holland Post 646 Ladies Auxiliary where she served as Chaplain. Norma was a volunteer for the Board of Elections working at various polling places, enjoyed doing ceramics, was a talented and creative cook, avid reader and was a whiz at crossword puzzles. But she will always be remembered as a loving, caring and generous mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend.

Left to cherish Norma’s memory is daughter, Pamela (Doug) Kruse; sons, Gary and Steven (Peggy) Zwayer; grandchildren, Leigh, Christopher (Kimberly), Jesse and Abigail; two great-grandchildren and another on the way this winter. She was preceded in death by husband, Clifford; parents; brother, John Seeley; sisters, Ellen Mull and Laurel Struth.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Monday, September 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. with an American Legion Holland Post 646 Ladies Auxiliary service at 7 p.m., where Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, September 29 at 11 a.m.
