GLOUCESTER POINT – Minnie May Hawkins, 85, died Thursday in Sanders Nursing Home at Gloucester.
A native of Newport News, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Newport News.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Howard Moffitt of Gloucester Point; two brothers, Ernest A. Seeley of Segreganset, Mass. and Jesse R. Seeley of Newport News, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hogg Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Andrew Bullock, pastor of Gloucester Point Baptist Church. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News.
