MIDDLETOWN MARTHA LEES FLETCHER
MARTHA LEES FLETCHER, 94, of 600 Valley Rd. a telephone operator for the former Control Instrument Co., Brooklyn, N.Y., for 20 years, retiring in the 1960s, died Tuesday in the Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown. She was the widow of John Fletcher.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late William and Martha (Lees) Seeley, she lived in Toms River, N.J., for 20 years before moving to Middletown in 1986.
She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She leaves a son, John E. Trotter of Central Falls; a daughter, Martha E. Curran of Middletown; 8 granddaughters; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary Episcopal Church, East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be private.
