Marysville – Marie E. Firth, 75, died unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 27, 1994, in St. John’s Hospital in Detroit.
She was born Dec. 2, 1918, in Port Huron and had always lived in the area. She married Granville J. Firth Jan. 1, 1943, in Port Huron.
She is survived by her husband, Granville J. Firth of Marysville; a daughter and her husband, Cynthia and Donald Maynard, grandson and wife, Mark M. and Joan Maynard, granddaughter and husband, Marie (Maggie) and Bryan Brown, great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Brown and great-grandson, Gary Granville Brown all of Lompoc, Calif.; three brothers, Gilbert Seely of Bay City, Mich., William Seely of Marysville and Raymond Seely of Port Huron; a sister, Florence Henkel of Ann Arbor; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary F. Firth June 29, 1964.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday in the Riverlawn Cemetery Chapel. The Rev. Charles E.N. Hoffacker, rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.
No visiting is scheduled.
