Surrounded by her family, the death of Margaret Galbraith, wife of the late Fred Galbraith occurred at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre on Monday, February 4, 2013. She was born on February 14, 1915 at Great Salmon River to the late Warren and Mary (Hickey) Seeley.
Margaret is survived by her sisters: Lenora “Torty” Johnson of Toronto and Elizabeth “Betty” Osborne of Winnipeg and brother-in-law, John McCartney of Sarnia and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, parents and brothers: Allister and Donald and sisters: Jean Bray and Helen “Bunny” McCartney.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in St. Martins Community Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
