Lynda Jo Coughlin (1941 – 2016)
Lynda Jo Seelye (Joey) Coughlin, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2016, at the age of 75 at her home in Stanwood, WA. She was born on May 18, 1941, to parents Donald and Cleone Haan Seelye in Bellingham, WA. Joey was predeceased by her parents, her husband Tom, her son Clancy, sister-in-law Vicki Seelye, and niece Courtney Seelye. She is survived by daughters Sara Alwert of Kodiak, Alaska and Kate (Doug) Flickner of Stanwood, WA, daughter-in-law Kim Coughlin, of Westland, MI, sisters Mary Ann (Gary) Leal of Santa Barbara, CA, Cheryl (Mike) Farley of West Seattle, and brother Lynn Seelye of Bellingham, WA and grandchildren Taylor and Jake Alwert, Magdalen and Olivia Flickner, and Kailee and Ryan Coughlin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial mass will be held at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Stanwood, WA on Saturday, September 17th at 12:00. Following the service, a celebration of life reception will be held at a family friend’s house at 9009 288th St. NW in Stanwood. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make contributions to Hospice of the Northwest, the Stanwood/Camano Food Bank, or St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
