Lurene Seeley Farley

Johnson City – Lurene Farley (Seeley), 64, of Johnson City, NY, surrounded by her children, peacefully joined her beloved husband on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at Wilson Hospital following a brief illness. She is survived by her son and son-in-law, Michael Farley and Joseph Kelly, her daughter and son-in-law Dana and Matthew Kassin, her mother, Helen Seeley, sister, Mary Lyn Cadman, and niece, Alyssa Cadman. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Donald Farley, father, Robert Seeley, and brother, Donald Seeley.

Lurene grew up in Thompson, PA and was a graduate of Susquehanna Community High School and Webber College, Florida. She worked for United Methodist Homes – Hilltop Campus for many years as a CNA. She will be dearly missed by her co-workers who had become close friends. Lurene was an incredibly special woman. She gave her life and career to those that needed her most. All that she sacrificed and gave for her children will be greatly remembered and treasured. Her family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff of North Tower 3, the ICU/CVICU, Dr. Crispell, Dr. Miller, and her entire medical team.

A Memorial Services will be held at J. F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc. 150 Main Street, Johnson City on Tuesday, March 6th. Calling hours will begin at 11:00am, with a service to follow at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a financial contribution to United Methodist Homes – Hilltop Campus at unitedmethodisthomes.org in her memory.
