TOLEDO, Ill. – Mrs. Lula May Marshall, 70, of Janesville, died at 12:15 a.m. today in Mattoon Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Lashmet Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Huff officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery near Lerna. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Marshall was born March 23, 1900, in Toledo, the daughter of John and Dora Cathers Seeley. She married Daniel Marshall. He died Oct. 23, 1962.
She is survived by two sons, John of Whitman Air Force Base, Mo., and Henry of Charleston; five daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Dorothy) Stewart, Mrs. Don (Gertie) Trigg and Martha Marshall, all of Janesville, and Mrs. Richard (Grace) Brown and Mrs. Alfred (Irene) Runner, both of Shelbyville; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Marcella Abbot of Olney; three sisters, Mrs. Oma Logan of Arcola and Mrs. Flossie Highland and Mrs. Frances Phipps, both of Decatur; two brothers, William Seeley of Charleston and Glen Seeley of Lerna; and 21 grandchildren.
Mrs. Marshall was a member of the Janesville Christian Church.
