LOTTIE V. HUNTER HAS PASSED AWAY

A Well Known Woman of Randolph Township

Mrs. Lottie Viola Hunter, the wife of Sherman Hunter, and a well known and universally respected woman of central Crawford, died at her home about two miles southeast of Guys Mills, at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. For the past three years Mrs. Hunter had been a great sufferer and during the past few months it has been known that the grim reaper was near at hand. The deceased, whose maiden name was Lottie Seeley, (Editorial Note: She is Lillie in the census’) was united in marriage to Sherman Hunter about seventeen years ago. To this union four children were born and live to comfort their father in his hour of sorrow. They are Lile (Editorial note: should be: Nile), Dagus, Solomon and Mabel Hunter. Besides her husband and children, Mrs. Hunter is survived by her aged mother, Mrs. Charlotte Seeley; 80 years of age; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Ellen Sweat of Pleasantville and Mrs. Sarah Isabelle Snow of Townville; and five brothers, John A. Seeley of Troy Centre, Joseph P. Seeley of Tryonville, Robert R. Seeley of Pineville, Burl Seeley of Titusville and Charles A. Seeley of Oil City.

Funeral services in memory of the departed will be held at the church in Guys Mills Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock and interment will be made in the Guys Mills cemetery.
