Lois Melva Parker, 96, a longtime resident of Wichita Falls, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Fort Worth, TX.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with Chaplain Raylynn Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive visitors before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Parker was born September 11, 1918 in Bowie, TX to Dave and Nancy Jane (Cosby) Seely. She graduated high school in Bowie and later was employed there as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell. Her job brought her to Wichita Falls in 1957 where she retired from the phone company after 38 years of service. Lois was a member of Tenth and Broad Church of Christ. She had been in Fort Worth for the last three years. Lois loved her family dearly and will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Walter Parker in 1971 and by a brother, William H. Seely.

Survivors are her daughter, Mary Ann Castle; grandson, Kevin Michael Smith and his wife Lisa Grace Smith, all of Fort Worth; great grandson, Matthew Garrett Smith; niece, Diane Young of Bowie, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4900 Johnson Rd., 76310.
