Lois L. Crane, 76, of Holden Brook Road, Osceola, Pa., passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.
Lois was born in Troupsburg, NY on October 3, 1937, the daughter of Hugh and Lucy Cady Seeley.
Lois was a transportation contractor with the Northern Tioga School District, transporting school students throughout the district for over 30 years. She was a very talented seamstress and a loving and caring mother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Harry Seeley, Louis Seeley and John Seeley.
Surviving is her son, Rodney “Rocky” Crane at home, her brother and sister in law, Raymond and Kay Seeley of Troupsburg, her sisters and brothers in law, Ruth and Bob Kizer of Elkland and Kathy and Steve Hartman of Woodhull, her very dear friend, Barbara Jones of Osceola and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM on Thursday, May 8 at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM with Rev. Larry O’Dell officiating.
Lois’ ashes will be buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Troupsburg, NY.
