LAKE BLUFF – Leona Skinkle, 88, formerly of Crystal Lake, died Sunday, March 8, 1992, at Lake Bluff Health Care Center.
Born Feb. 7, 1904, in Delmar, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Jonas and Eva Seeley.
For many years she was a bookkeeper for Bowman Dairy.
She belonged to the First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake, the Crystal Lake Women’s Clug, McHenry County Defenders, McHenry County Audubon Society and Justen Rebecca Lodge 784.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Skinkle, and a brother, Horace Seeley.
The services were private.
