On Saturday afternoon, at her home in Lacona occurred the death of Mrs. Laurel Flansburg, wife of George Flansburg. Mrs. Flansburg had not been feeling well for a day or so, complaining of a terrible headache, and had taken several headache tablets. After Mr. Flansburg left for his work on Saturday noon, she sent her daughter Geraldine out to pay a few store bills and upon the child’s return it was discovered her mother was lying down and could not be roused. The child immediately rushed to the neighbors for assistance but before the doctor reached the home she had passed away. Mrs. Flansburg was the daughter of Mrs. Milton Nash of Syracuse. She is survived by her husband, one daughter Fern, her mother, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Smith and Mrs. Etna Burgess, both of Waterloo, N.Y.; four brothers, Ray Seely, Frank Seely, Charles Seely and Clark Seely, all of Syracuse. The funeral services were held from her late home on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, Rev. S.A. Renicks officiating. Mrs. Madge Birdslow and Mrs. L.J. Oyer sang. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery.
