Laura Ann Ritter, 38, LaVergne, Tenn., died July 6, 2001, as a result of an automobile accident. Born March 24, 1963, at Kirkwood to the late William R. Seely II and Lois (Redmond) Whelehon. Besides her father, preceded by two sons: Joshua Chaplin, Zachary Christopher Ritter; sisters; Cathy and Carol Seely; grandfathers: William R. Seely I, and Louis Redmond; grandmother, Viola Fender.
Survived by mother, Lois; husband, Ransom Ritter III; son, Ransom Zachary Ritter; daughters: Rachael Chaplin and Chelsea D. Ritter; step-father, Mike Whelehon, Farmington; grandmother, Sybil (Simmons) Detring, Farmington; brother, William R. Seely III , Farmington; sisters: Linda M. Graham, French Village, Sherry Fleming, Augusta, Ga.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
Visitation 5 p.m. Monday at the Cozean Funeral Home. Services 10 a.m. Tuesday with Father Eugene Robertson and the Rev. James Lacey officiating. Burial at Arcadia Valley Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
