On Monday, April 1, 2002 at the Brockville General Hospital; the former June N. Seeley at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of Edmund Shields of Brockville. Loving mother of Diane Helliker and her husband Doug of Toronto and Michael Shields and his wife Ilga of Richmond Hill. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Carmen, Brianna and Madison. Also survived by her sister Joyce Sinclair and her husband Brian of California. Predeceased by her brother Aubrey Seeley. A native of Mainsville, Ontario, Mrs. Shields lived for many years in Richmond Hill. She enjoyed a lengthy career with the Bank of Nova Scotia prior to retiring to Brockville. Family and friends are invited to gather for a ceremony in celebration of June’s life on Friday, April 5th at 1 o’clock at the Irvine Funeral Home Reception Centre. Cremation will take place at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland. In remembrance, donations to Sherwood Park Manor will be gratefully acknowledged.
