Born June 2, 1931, in Malone, she was the daughter of the late James Seeley and Dorcas Phillips Seeley.

June or “June Bug” as she was affectionately called was a lover of nature, animals and very much enjoyed conversing and meeting people.

She graduated from Coxsackie-Athens High School and was active in the drum corps twirling a mean baton. June moved her family to Fort Ann upon the death of her beloved husband, Carl, raising three children as a sole provider was challenging but met these challenges with unconditional love and support.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carl E. Fritze; her sister, Naomi Seeley and her brother-in-law, Donald Yole.

Survivors include her daughters, Carol Dudley of Hudson Falls, Colleen Fritze of Haverhill. Massachusetts; her sons, Carl Fritze and his wife, Melissa, of Hudson Falls and James A. Seeley of West Fort Ann; her stepson, Robert Fritze and his wife, Louise, of Sebring, Florida; her sister, Betty Yole of Queensbury; her nieces, JoAnn Pierce of Fort Ann and Diane Lavigne of St. Johnsbury, Vermont; her grandchildren, Heather, Brett, Michael, Jeremy, Danielle and Bianca and her great-granchildren, Madalyn, Makenna and Brenn.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff and administrators of the Fort Hudson Nursing Home who became her extended family for many years and to the consummate medical professionals of the Critical Care Unit of Glens Falls Hospital.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Mason Funeral Home, 18 George St., Fort Ann.

A memorial service will follow after the calling hours with the Rev. Sharon Weber for family to reflect and share their loving thoughts and memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in June’s memory to the Fort Hudson Nursing Home, 319 Upper Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.
