Julia Chapin (1919 – 2014) Julia Margaret Chapin Salisbury-Julia Margaret Loreman Chapin, 94, of Salisbury, died on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Wicomico Nursing Home. Born in Briggsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Abner Neal Seeley and Ruth Edna Harmon Seeley. She was a member of the Wicomico Presbyterian Church and worked for 8 years as a hair stylist, then for 25 years as a seamstress. She very much enjoyed gardening and was known to have a cute story to tell at Lakeside. She is survived by 2 daughters, Margaret R. Tongue of Stockton and Mary Ann Loreman of Hillsborough, NC; 2 grandsons, Dax Massey of Boulder, CO and Skye McLeod of Hillsborough, NC; 3 granddaughters, Erin Massey of Pheonix, AZ, Bonnie McLeod of Hillsborough, NC and Susan Bowen & husband, Jimmy of Snow Hill; a great grandson, Joe Bowen & wife, Carlye of Yorktown, VA; 3 great granddaughters, Meagan Bowen of Snow Hill, Emma Grace Kleczkowski and Sophie Grace McLeod, both of Hillsborough, NC; step son, Donald A. Chapin & wife, Susan of NH; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Austin James Loreman, Jr., her second husband, Frank Oscar Chapin, a brother, Jay E. Seeley and a sister, Mildred R. Geiger. All services will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to Wicomico Presbyterian Church in Salisbury or your favorite charity .
