JUDITH FRAZER

GODFREY — Judith Ann Frazer, 75, passed away at 5:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Morningside of Godfrey.

She was born in White Hall, Illinois, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Loretta (Howard) Seely.

On Sept. 7, 1963, she married Joel Frazer in White Hall.

Judy worked for over 20 years teaching at St. Mary’s in Alton and Holy Ghost Catholic School in Jerseyville before retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey. She also enjoyed gardening, volunteering, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Joe, she is survived by two children and their spouses, Marcia and Tony Zitka of Cambridge, UK and Gregory and Jennifer Frazer of St. Charles, Missouri; six grandchildren: Madeline, Samantha and Nicola Zitka, Justin, Matthew and Stephen Frazer; two sisters, Carol Spangenberg and JoEllen (Pat) Brannan, both of Jacksonville, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey.
