Juanita Seeley Fontenot, 64, died at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at a local hospital. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. today, Feb. 10, from Immaculate Conception Church in Jennings. The Rev. Jude Brunnert, M. S., will officiate. Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Jennings under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel. Visitation is from 9 a.m. today in the church. Born in Jennings, she lived in Compton, Calif., for 39 years before moving back to Jennings in 1996. She was a member of Immaculate Conception and a devoted wife of 48 years. Survivors include her husband, Willie Roy Fontenot Sr. of Jennings; two sons, Willie Roy Fontenot Jr. of Bellflower, Calif., and Mark Anthony Fontenot of Carson, Calif.; father, Oscar Seeley Sr. of Jennings; one sister, Doretta Winslow of Houston; two brothers, John Curtis Seeley Sr. of Compton and Oscar Carter Seely Sr. of Barstow, Calif.; four grand – children; and five great – grandchildren.
