Jessica M. Zimmerman, age 89 of Waunakee, died on Saturday Nov. 27, 1999. She was born on Feb. 6, 1910 in Harvard, Ill., the daughter of Dr. Norman L. and Bonnie (Smith) Seelye.
Jessica married Lowell Zimmerman on June 30, 1932 in Harvard. He proceeded her in death on Feb. 12, 1960.
She taught elementary students for the Burlington School District until her retirement in 1974. Jessica was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Waunakee and former member of the First Methodist Church in Burlington, Wis.
She is survived by her two children, Mary Lee Armbruster of Waunakee and Dr. Roger (Marcia) Zimmerman of Fond du Lac, Wis.; eight grandchildren, Dr. Nancy (Vincent Zimmerman-Pope, Dr. Randy, Jennifer, Amy and Sara Zimmerman and Heidi, Troy and Chad Armbruster; her sister Bonnie Kaddatz of Burlington and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband Lowell, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Nathan and Kenneth Seelye.
Funeral services were held at First Presbyterian Church, 5763 CTY. Q, Waunakee, on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999. Burial took place at the Burlington Memorial Cemetery, Burlington, Wis.
