Jeanne Adele Cottrell

Funeral services will be 12 PM Monday at Lane Funeral Home Niles Chapel for Jeanne Adele Cottrell who passed away Friday evening at Hospice House in Poland.

Jeanne was born February 22, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of William and Helen Seeley.

Jeanne married her husband Elmer Cottrell on May 23 1948. She was a homemaker and salesperson for various companies. Jeanne took part in missionary work for the First Baptist Church in Niles, OH where she was also a member. She was a member of the Match-N-Patch Club, a former member of the Niles Garden Club and the Craft Club at the Central Park Apartments. She also attended Elderly Affairs where she enjoyed making crafts. Jeanne was well known for her talent in baking cakes and cake decorating. She enjoyed flowers, camping and nature.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband Elmer Cottrell, son Ronald Cottrell, and her parents Helen and William Seeley.

She will be sadly missed by her children Dennis (Angie) Cottrell of Mineral Ridge and Sharon (Mark) Thou of Niles. Daughter-in-law Kay Cottrell of Mineral Ridge. Six grandchildren Kary (Don Phillips) Cottrell, Allison (Dave) Jones, Brian (Alicia) Cottrell, Shawn Cottrell, Eric Cottrell and Lindsey Thou; and one great-granddaughter Airiana Jones.

Friends may call from 10 am until 12 pm Monday at Lane Funeral Niles Chapel, 415 Robbins Ave. prior to the services. Following the service Jeanne will be interred at Green Haven Cemetery in Canfield OH. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Youngstown, OH 44512-2198.
