Jeanette F. Babulsky of Niantic, Connecticut | 1925 – 2014

Groton – Jeanette F. Babulsky, 88, of Groton, passed away on Oct. 23, 2014, at Bride Brook Healthcare in Niantic.

She was born on Oct. 28, 1925, in New London, the daughter of the late Paul and Frances Deboll Bailey Seely.

Mrs. Babulsky had worked for over 10 years as a cashier at the U.S. Submarine Base Commissary in Groton, and was a former member of the Groton Rockhounds.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St. Her burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Starr Hill Cemetery in Groton.

In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that donations be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation , 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.

Jeanette F. Babulsky, 88, of Groton passed away on Oct. 23, 2014 at the Bridebrook Healthcare in Niantic.

She was born on Oct. 28, 1925 in New London the daughter of the late Paul and Frances Deboll Bailey Seely.

Mrs. Babulsky had worked for over 10 years as a cashier at the U. S. Submarine Base Commissary in Groton; and was a former member of the Groton Rock Hounds.

Her survivors include 4 daughters Nancy Hemcher, Goldie Vasquez, Carol Figueroa, Becky Goslin, 3 sons Richard Goslin, David Goslin, Stephen Goslin, 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She had also been predeceased by both of her husband’s Ralph J. Goslin and Leon Babulsky.

Memorial services will be held at 1 pm Sat. Nov. 8 at the Byles- Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St.

Her burial will be held at 11:30 Sat. Nov 8 at the Starr Hill Cemetery in Groton.
