Jayne Marie Tanner, a long time resident of Vallejo, passed Thursday Jan. 24, at John Muir Hospital after a brain trauma suffered in a fall. Jayne was born on Nov. 30, 1939 in Houlton, ME to Muriel and George Seeley. After high school she and her sister, Gail Seeley moved to San Francisco. While living in San Francisco, Jayne met and married Donald W. Tanner and they had two children, Samantha and Donald. Jayne enjoyed tole painting, painting scenery, quilting, and sewing until arthritis made these hobbies too difficult. Jayne is survived by her children; her older sister, Gail; her beloved cats, Maddie, Joel, and P. Kitty, as well as many nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank all her many loving friends at Florence Douglas Center, as well as her doctors for their help and care of our mother. No services will be held. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
