Helen “Lyn” Kapsch
Helen “Lyn” Kapsch, 65, Mandan, went to our Lord Feb. 6, 2018.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3rd Street and Avenue A., Bismarck, with The Rev. Steve Sathre officiating.
Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck. Cremation has taken place.
Lyn was born Dec. 11, 1952, in Mandan, the daughter of Del and Lois (Bailey) Seelye.
She was raised in Bismarck where she graduated from BHS. She later attended Valley City State. She returned to Bismarck where she met Dietrich Kapsch of Elgin. They married Nov. 25, 1977, in Bismarck, and had three children. Lyn centered her life around her family and enjoyed hosting many events throughout the year. She loved to spend her summers camping. Lyn retired from Job Service N.D. after 32 years of employment.
Lyn is survived by her husband, Diede, Mandan; two children, Kyle (Kelly), Bismarck, and Kaysi Kapsch, Bismarck; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Zander Kapsch; her sister, Debb (Mick) Scharosch, Bismarck; and her mother, Lois Seelye, Bismarck.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan; and her father, Del.
