Mrs. Golda Phelps Of Toledo Dies
TOLEDO, Ill. – Mrs. Golda Phelps, 52, wife of Homer Phelps, died Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at her home in Toledo.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Toledo Methodist Church, with Rev. Chester Groves, formerly of Toledo, officiating. Burial will be in the Toledo cemetery, in charge of the Markwell-Lashmet funeral home.
Mrs. Phelps was born July 18, 1905, in Toledo, a daughter of Henry and Belle Seeley.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Falkenhein, Vernon; two brothers, Dan Seeley, Toledo, and Jake Seeley, East Peoria; one sister, Mrs. Inez Bader, Omaha, Neb.; and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Phelps was active in the Christian Church of Toledo.
