Christine Seeley Nanney

Christine Seeley Nanney was born in West Palm Beach, FL on August 10, 1929 and died in Kodiak, AK on July 17, 2014. She lived her entire life in Palm Beach County and was a lifelong member of Northwood/Village Baptist Church. There, she served in many different capacities, including countless hours of volunteer work with their food ministry (Feed the Hungry Food Pantry). Among other jobs, she was the Bookstore Manager at Palm Beach Atlantic University for many years and was well-loved by the faculty and students alike. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Edmund Nanney, and is survived by her two daughters, Candice Elmore (Gary Elmore) of Kodiak, AK and Brenda Ziegler (Bill Ziegler) of Wake Forest, NC, and her grandchildren, Matthew Lacy, Noelle (Lacy) Kujala, Heidi (Lacy) Olive, K.C. (Ziegler) Northcutt, Brian Ziegler, and Shannon Ziegler, and her great-grandchildren, Christian and Jacob Lacy. There will be a viewing at 10:00AM with Funeral Services at 11:00AM on July 28, 2014 at Village Baptist Church, 3600 Village Blvd, West Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VBC Feed the Hungry Food Pantry, 8306 – 155th Place North, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418 or Kodiak Island Outreach, 1910 E. Rezanof Dr, Kodiak, AK 99615.
