Ballston Spa – Charlotte E. “Charlene” Sinkora, 84, of Stides Drive, Ballston Spa, died Saturday afternoon, February 3, 2007, at home following a brief illness.

She was born in the town of Providence of August 15, 1922, a daughter of Harry and Mary Hart Seeley and was educated in Broadalbin schools.  At one time, Charlotte was employed as a glovemaker in Gloversville.

She enjoyed fishing and camping and loved traveling up north to Canada.  Charlotte also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

She was predeceased by her eight siblings, Irene Leslie, Joseph, Ellis, Charles, Richard, and Gilbert Seeley, Amy Fairchild and Florence Skelley.

Survivors include her companion of 28 years, Robert Covell of Ballston Spa; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc., 38 West Main St., Broadalbin with the Rev. Brad Broyles officiating.  Burial will be in the Spring at Union Mills Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, in care of the funeral home.
