DUNCAN — Cecil Januita Seely Thacker Cecil Januita Seely Thacker, 92, of Countyline died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011 in Marlow. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, in Alma Cemetery with Lee Wright officiating, under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. All visitation will be at the Grantham Velma Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, and 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Velma Chapel. Januita was born July 25, 1919, in Alma, the daughter of Francis Marion and Pearl Knight Seely. She married Earl Lawson Thacker in September 1939 in Alma, and he preceded her in death July 8, 1988. She was a homemaker. She is survived by: one daughter, Barbara Gilby and husband John; three sons, Roy Donald Davis and wife Wilma, Jack Thacker and Billy Earl Thacker, all of the Velma area; and eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and five sisters. Pallbearers will be Billy Earl Thacker, Edward Bender, John Gilby, Kelly Gilby, Kenny Bare and Dallas Bare.
