Platte, S.D. – Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Cool Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Herman Nelson, 57, who died Tuesday in a Platte hospital following a long illness.
Blanche Seeley was born Aug. 24, 1911, at Larchwood, Iowa. She was married to Herman Nelson, Nov. 20, 1929, at Sioux Fall. She worked as a night nurse at the Platte Hospital. Mr. Nelson preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Joseph, Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Sly, Platte; three granddaughters, a sister, Mrs. Henry Klosterbuer, Luverne, Minn.; three brothers, Milton Seeley, Saloam Springs, Ark.; Edgar Seeley, Spearfish, and Harry Seeley, Burbank, Calif.
