GREEN RIVER, UT–Beulah Bohleen, age 85, passed away December 8, 1999 at Castleview Hospital in Price. She was born August 8, 1914 in Sunnyside, Utah to Joseph and Florence Amelia Shiner Seely. She married Floyd Hyrum Mackley in 1932, later divorced. She then married Daniel Melrose Bohleen Nov. 9, 1936, later solemnized in the Seattle LDS Temple. Beulah was very proud of her family and ancestors. She did a lot of genealogy, beautiful handwork, and reading, especially church and historical books. She loved the outdoors and sports of all kinds. She was very loved by her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, Phyllis (Calvin) Bastian of Green River, Charles Nelson (Marilyn) Mackley of Salinas, CA, Melvin J. Bohleen of Dayton, WA, Barbara Jo (Ronald) Starkey of Purdy, MO, and Jerry Lynn (Julie) Bohleen of Denver, CO, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers: J. Hawley Seely of Grand Junction, Robert (Charlotte) Seely, Richard (Dixie) Seely and sister, Jane (Errol) Stott all of Green River. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Mel Bohleen and Floyd Mackley, a brother William, a sister Zetta Vion, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999 at 11 a.m. in the Green River LDS Chapel. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial to follow in the Price City Cemetery. Fausett Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
