Betty Lou Cook was born July 23, 1940 in Pascagoula, MS to father Warren Seely and mother Bessie Pickett Seely. She passed away Monday, November 20, 2017

Survived by her husband of 61 years, Wayne A. Cook and their dog “Trixie”, daughter Natalie Martin (Jim), son, Wayne Cook Jr. (Di’Ane). Grandchildren, Ashlee Martin, Hunter Martin (Darlene), Alex Cook, Meagan Cook, Ashton Weatherford, Avery Weatherford, Great grandchildren Renee Martin, Owen Martin, Zachary Scott, Landon Scott. Sister in law, Gail Seely and brother in law Jerry McCool.

Born and raised in Pascagoula, Betty Lou was always on the move, whether it was traveling the world with her husband, fishing her favorite spots, or just cruising the country in their RV. She loved football and Bret Farve. She conquered her fear of bridges when Biloxi opened up the Casinos. “Lulu” was the center of attention wherever she went. She could light up a room in an instant and crack a joke at any time. No matter the company or situation she always told it like it was. Betty Lou was truly one of a kind, and will be missed by everyone that was lucky enough to know her.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 25, from 11:00 to 1:00pm, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe funeral home with service to follow at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Jackson County Memorial Park, in Pascagoula, MS.

There will be a celebration of Mrs. Cooks life at the Old Place from 4:00-6:00 pm in Gautier, MS.
