Passed away at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Friday, March 13, 2009. Age 92 years.

Survived by her children, Gerald (Judy-deceased) Brehn, Barbara (George) Ward, Sherrill Adams, Sandra (Robert) Mateski, Russell (Sandra) Brehn and Dale Schauland; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers, Martin (Mary- deceased) Seeley, Raymond (Joan) Seeley and Don (Ester) Seeley; her sister, Frances Davis; also numerous nieces and nephews survive.

Preceded in death by her husbands, Melvin Schauland and Clarence Brehn; her son-in-law, Charles “Chuck” Rose and daughter-in-law, Judy Brehn; a granddaughter, Scottie Brehn; and two great-grandsons; a sister, Genevieve Hamilton; three brothers, Russell, William and James Seeley.

Anne was Past Board President of Trinity Services, member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and former Board Member of Ludwig School. Retired after 20 years at the Will County Courthouse where she was supervisor of the County Clerk Office for Sam Paul. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1935. Anne enjoyed bowling with the Ladies League at Strike and Spare Bowling in Lockport. Anne’s family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Sunny Hill Nursing Home for the wonderful care provided to their mother.

Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Wednesday, March 18 at 9:30 A.M., to St. Bernard Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M., for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials to Trinity Services will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
