Ann S. Paris, 86, of Coopers Plains, NY, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at home.

She was born May 2, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Warren and Emma (Canfield) Seeley.

Ann retired in 1985 as a teacher from the Corning-Painted Post School district after 25 years.

She liked to travel. She especially loved teaching and being with children. She was faithful to her Church and Coopers Plains Long Acres Volunteer Fire Dept.

Her family was most important to her.

Ann is survived by her Daughter, Betsy (Peter) Cordes of Coopers Plains; Sons, Byron (Carol) Paris of Coopers Plains and Richard (Alberta) Paris of Grand Coulee, WA; Grandchildren, Robert (Jodi) Cordes, Amy Cordes, Lee (Amber) Paris; and great granddaughters, Madison and Isabelle Cordes; Her sister-in-laws, Mildred Miles, Marion Paris, Nancy Burdick and Sandy Paris all of Corning; special friend, Karry Shaw.

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Robert Paris and grandson, Vern Paris.

The family will receive family and friends at the Acly-Stover Funeral Home on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 p.m.

Committal prayers and interment will be held at 10 am, Monday, October 2, 2017 at Coopers Plains Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to CPLA F.D., Coopers Plains Community Church or Care First. (Hospice).
