Ann M. Seeley Dugan

WALLINGFORD– Ann M. Seeley Dugan, 72, of North Turnpike Road, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at the Mid State Medical Center in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Joseph Dugan.

She was born in Avoca, Pa., July 31, 1937, a daughter of the late Harold and Mary Roug Seeley and had been a Wallingford resident for the past 40 years. She had been employed in the nursing service department of the Masonic Home and Hospital for 17 years.

She was the loving mother of Donna Bennett of Wallingford, Karen Girard of Meriden, Geniene Dugan of Wallingford, Patricia Beerbaum and her husband, Dion of Southington, Charles Dugan and his wife, Michelle Middlefield, Anna Briglia of Wolcott, Ruth Ann Bennie and her husband, Joseph of Old Forge, Pa.; her son-in-law, Eric Pire of Wallingford; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Dugan of Meriden; her 26 grandchildren; her 10 great grandchildren; her brother, Stanley Seeley of Pittston, Pa.; and her sisters-in-law Shirley Andrews of Philadelphia, Pa. and Joan Seeley of Lake Ariel, Pa.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mischelle Pire; her son, Charles Dugan III; her grandchildren, Kristine Pire, and Thomas Mitchell; and her two brothers John Seeley and Joseph Seeley.

Mrs. Dugan’s family would like to express their gratitude to the Visiting Nurses Association of Wallingford for their excellent care and support.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 4 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday from The Wallingford Funeral Home at 10 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to SS. Peter and Paul Church, 127 N. Orchard St., Wallingford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
