Alda LaVel Seeley Otten Erickson, 92, died December 6, 1993 in the Mayfield Manor, Mayfield, Utah. Born August 18, 1901 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, to Alfred and Sarah Bohne Seeley. Married August G. Otten, January 10, 1922 in Mt. Pleasant; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died in 1970. Alda was a member of the Sterling LDS Ward. Survivors, four sons and one daughter, Ray, Clovis, Calif.; Max and Clair, both of Sterling; Dean, Crescent City, Calif.; Mrs. George (Shila) Cioda, Sacramento, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two daughters and one son, Jean, Betty and Burt. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 11, 1993, 11 a.m. in the Sterling Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, under the direction of Buchanan Mortuary.
