Daniel L. Seeley, 47, Indiana, formerly of Punxsutawney RD 7, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at Indiana Hospital.
Mr. Seeley was born July 26, 1953, in Punxsutawney, the son of Francis S. and AnnaBelle Neal Seeley.
A 1971 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School, he had attended the New Castle Business College. He was a vice president and regional sales manager of the NBOC Bank, where he was employed for 27 years.
A former member of the Punxsutawney Lions Club, he was a member of Community Action and Downtown Indiana, and served on the board of directors of Big Brother-Big Sisters of Indiana.
An avid hunter, fisherman and cook, Mr. Seeley attended the Trinity United Methodist Church in Indiana.
In addition to his parents, Punxsutawney RD 2, he is survived by a son Douglas M. Seeley and his wife, Pam, of Oakdale; a brother, F. Gary Seeley of Philadelphia; two sisters; Mrs. David (Connie) Penne of Annapolis, Md., and Mrs. Jon (Debbie) Beatty of Punxsutawney RD 5; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Seeley Weaver.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Deeley Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dr. Deryl K. Larsen will officiate. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery near Cloe.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
