SEELYE, Pfc. Joseph H., of 2056 Allene Ave., passed away July 15, 1944, in France. Beloved father of Joseph Douglas Seelye; son of Mr. Seth Warner Seelye; brother of Mrs. Catherine Sega, Mrs. Oley Mae Edsell, Mrs. Emma Shibley, William H. and James Seelye; grandson of Mrs. M.F. Seelye and Mrs. Susie Davidson. Remains will arrive Tuesday at 10 a.m. and be taken to the W.G. Hardy Broadway Chapel, 3415 W. Broadway. Funeral services Wednesday, May 25 at 2 p.m. at the graveside, in St. Stephens Cemetery. Military honors by Preston St. Post number 9 Amvets.
