James Allen “Casey” Seely, 77, of Tecumseh, Mich., died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 in the Toledo Hospital at Toledo, Ohio. He was born July 2, 1939, to Glen D. and Kate Seely.
Seely was a 1959 graduate of North Adams High School and an avid Michigan University fan. Before retirement he was employed by Tecumseh Products.
Surviving are a brother, D.G. (Jeri) Seely of Milford, Ind.; and three sisters, Phyllis D’Addio of Hickory Hills, Ill., Beatrice (Jim) Shaner and Nancy Kimmel, both of Chandler, Ariz.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Rhetta Sturvevant of Tecumseh and Susan Seely of Hillsdale.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with funeral service following at 1 p.m. Pastor Brian Fath of the Gate of Grace Ministries will preside. Burial will be in North Adams Cemetery.
