W.G. Seeley, Farber, Dies At Hospital

FARBER – William Glenn Seeley. 58, a resident of Farber for eight years, died at 9 a.m. Thursday at Audrain Hospital.  A truck driver for North American Refreactories, Mr. Seeley suffered a heart attack at his home Wednesday night and was taken to Audrain Hospital where he had a second attack.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Vandalia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Isaac Scherpenisse of Farber officiating.  Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.

Mr. Seeley was born Oct. 3, 1907 in Audrain County near Wellsville, one of eight children of Thomas E. and Ida M. Seeley.  He attended Swope School.

He married the former Laverta M. Barnes of Vandalia Dec. 24, 1932 and she survives along with two sons, William Wayne of Swanton, Ohio and Ted D. of Farber; six granddaughters and two grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Homer (Hazel) Rentfro of Farber; Minnie and Mrs. Alta Caldwell of Vandalia.

He was a member of the IOOF and the Rebekahs and belonged to the Farber Presbyterian Church.

The body is at WIlkey-Bienhoff funeral home in Laddonia.
