Thomas A. Seeley

South Glens Falls – Thomas A. “Tom” Seeley, 56, passed away on Thursday Feb 23, 2006, unexpectedly at his home.

Born Nov. 20, 1949, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Clifton E. Seeley of Glens Falls and the late Geraldine (Gerry) Seeley.

Prior to his retirement he was the owner/operator of Mico’s Formal Wear in downtown Glens Falls and most recently employed by the Glens Falls YMCA.

Tom was an avid sports fan and golfer, not only as a spectator but also as a participant. At one time he played for the Hudson Falls Greenjackets Football Team in the position of linebacker.

During his high school years he was a three-sport athlete, playing football, basketball and baseball.
He also served at one time on the Warrensburg Community Development Advisory Board.
Besides his mother, Gerry, his nephew, Michael R. Seeley predeceased him.

In addition to his father, Clifton Seeley of Glens Falls; his two sons, Brian T. Seeley and his wife, Amber, of Glens Falls and Greg T. Seeley of Lake George survive Tom; also three brothers, Gene Seeley and his wife, Leona, of Gansevoort, Terry R. Seeley and his wife, Kathie, of Fort Edward, and Timothy A. Seeley and his wife, Maryann, of Lake George; and one sister, Beverly J. Hall of Queensbury; his brother-in-law, Timothy Hall, of Fort Ann, all survive him; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb 26, 2006, at Regan & Denny Funeral Home, 94 Saratoga Ave. South Glens Falls.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the spring at Moss Street Cemetery, Hudson Falls.
