Sara Reid Seeley

BALTIMORE – Sara Reid Seeley of Baltimore, a retired court recorder, died at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore on Wednesday, June 10, 1987.  She was 66.

Born in Hurlock, she was the daughter of the late Sewell W.C. and Daisy A. Medford Reid.  She was a 1939 graduate of Hurlock High School.  She served as a court recorder for the Howard County Circuit Court for many years and also worked for Baltimore area lawyers taking dispositions.

Her husband, Clinton Ford Seeley Jr., died in 1966.

Mrs. Seeley is survived by two sons, Clayton L. Seeley and C. Ford Seely III, both of Baltimore; one brother, William W. Reid of Hurlock; a foster brother, Ralph C. Milligan of Hurlock; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Framptom-Hawkins Funeral Home in Federalsburg.  The Rev. Robert Thomas will officiate.  Burial will be at Unity-Washington Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funerl home Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be Roger, Leon and Floyd Medford, Charles Gorman, William Reid Jr., and Jason Reid.
