SEELY, ROY age 81 passed away Monday, July 9, 2012. Roy was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad where he was a crane operator. He was preceded in death by multiple family members including his first wife, Bertie M. Seely and most recent his daughter-in-law, Shirley Barnes. He is survived by his wife, Doris McNabb Seely, 3 sons, James Roy Seely (Thresa), Fred Seely (Michelle), Keith Barnes, 3 daughters, Nancy Smith (Wendell), Amy Celentano (Chris), Frankie Rothe (Freddie), brother, James Seely, 2 brother-in-laws, Hollis Bridier, Tommy McNabb (Sharon), 3 sister-in-laws, Bernice Bailey, Elaine Davis (Crocket), Sara Peppers, 12 grandsons, Chris Smith, Lamar Smith, Ethan Seely, Michael Seely, Gentry Seely, Dimitri Celentano, Ryan Snyder, Jerrett Seely, Joseph Seely, David Rothe, Jeremy Barnes, Brian Barnes, as well as multiple nephews and nieces. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and to all the wonderful staff at Trinity Medical that cared for him. A special thanks to Nurse Mandy for her kindness and compassion in the final hours. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to the Mt. Hebron W. O. M.
