Mystic – Robert C. Seeley Sr., 90, of Mystic, husband to the late Catherine (Riley) Seeley, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at Pendleton Health & Rehab in Mystic where he had been a recent resident.
Born in Natick, Mass., he was the son of the late Walter and Helen (Glover) Seeley and lived in Mystic since 1961.
Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran serving aboard several subs including the USS Irex, USS Albacore and the USS Dogfish. He was honorably discharged in 1975 earning the rank of senior chief. Following his retirement from the Navy, he worked for 3M Company as a service technician up until his final retirement in 1995.
He is survived by his four children, Sharon McLaurin of Massachusetts, Robert C. Seeley Jr. of Mystic, Richard Seeley of Mystic and William Seeley of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services for Bob will be private.
