Hugh was born in Portland to George and Dora Seely. He was married to Catherine for 56 years until her untimely death in 2006. Hugh was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Philippines and New Guinea. His career spanned over 40 years as a theatrical stagehand/electrician with IATSE Local 28. His passion was old cars and attending car shows. He is survived by his son, Dennis (Linda) Seely; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services have already been held.
