FUNERAL OF GRANDISON SEELY LARGELY ATTENDED

WALLACEVILLE, Dec. 8 – Funeral services in memory of the late Grandison Seely were held at his home on Wednesday forenoon at 10:30, the pastor of the Diamond U. B. church officiating. Mr. Seely, who was born in Oakland township, Feb. 8, 1842, had spent the greater part of his life in the vicinity where he died, near Wallaceville. He was of a cheerful disposition, and a kind and obliging neighbor. During his illness, which was of but a few weeks, he bore his suffering with patience. He was married to Miss Susanna Hollabaugh of Deckards, who preceded him many years ago. Later he married Mrs. Minnie Styer of Townville, who survives him with one son, Frank, by his first wife, and two step-daughters, Mrs. Grace Shields of Brandleytown and Mrs. Fred Washburn of Dunkirk, N.Y., and three grandsons, Paul of Titusville, Lawrence of Cochranton, Lee of California and two step grandsons and one granddaughter. Those who attended the funeral from a distance were Mrs. Fred Washburn and son Harold of Dunkirk, N.Y.; and Mrs. Arthur Megahey of Titusville. Interment in Chapmanville cemetery.
