George L. Seely

MANCHESTER – George L. Seely, 78, Manchester, died Friday, March 11, 1988, at the Ottawa County Hospital in Minneapolis.

Mr. Seely was born Sept. 22, 1909, in Lamar. He lived in the Manchester area his entire life.

He was a carpenter and a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Longford American Legion.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Jennie Ann Sexton and Edna Elsie Seely.

Survivors include his wife, Arlyne of the home; two sisters Lillian Holt and Neva Heck, both of Abilene; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Carlson Funeral Home in Solomon, the Rev. Charles Cryderman officiating.

Burial will be in the White Cloud Cemetery at Manchester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
