FLETA MAE SEELY

As goes time, so goes our lives.

Fleta Mae Seely, 76, of Monett, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 03, 2006, in the Monett Health Care Center.

She was born October 17, 1929, in Cassville, Mo., the daughter of Dewey and Viola Gaige Hankins.

Fleta Mae lived each day for her family, never once asking anything for herself.

Having lost her beloved husband, Frank Seely, at an early age, Fleta Mae lived a full life raising nine children: four sons, Gary Seely and his wife, Cathy, of Carl Junction, Mo.; Frank Seely and his wife, Nina, of Austin, Texas; William Bunch, Jr., of Butterfield, Mo.; Gregory Bunch and his wife, Suzette, of Webb City, Mo.; five daughters, Paula Hancock and her husband, Floyd, of Maumelle, Ark.; Peggy Howerton, and her husband, Melvin, of Springdale, Ark.; Pamela Kloss and her husband, Steven; Becky West and her husband, Devan, of Waynoka, Okla.; and Tara Atkinson, of Aurora, Mo.; God’s greatest gift to this loving mother is that she is survived by all of her children, 25 grandchildren and her 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Peggy Gorton, of Purdy, Mo., and Marjorie Boysen, of Nashville, Tenn. Also surviving is William Everett Bunch, the father of William E., Jr.; Gregory and Tara.

Fleta Mae was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church, Cassville, Mo.

Fleta Mae’s beauty was surpassed only by her inner unselfish beauty. Always giving. Always loving. We mourn her loss, we cherish her memories.

Each time we look toward the heavens we will feel her radiant beaming smile and her beautiful watchful brown eyes over us.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Buchanan Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Yarnall officiating. Burial will be at the Antioch Cemetery, Cassville. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Monett Health Care Courtyard.
