Evelyn E. Seely, age 89, of Crete, formerly lifetime of Chicago Heights, passed away October 11, 2004 at St. James Hospice. Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Howard Seely [12/6/81]. She is survived by her loving children, Joanne [Edward] Marek of Oak Park, Jean [Jerry] Zawasa of Sedona, AZ, Carol [Chuck] ONeal of Steger, IL, Linda [Mark] Williams of Beecher, IL, James [Carolyn] Seely of Sammamish, WA, Bob, [Julie] Seely of Crete, IL. Dear sister-in-law of Betty Einhorn of Sunnyvale, CA. She was the proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Evelyn worked for Model Bakery in Chicago Heights for 20 years, played the organ at the former St. Annes Church in Chicago Heights, belonged to the Altar & Rosary Society of the Church, and was an Avon Representative for many years. Visitation was Wednesday, October 13th, from 4:00-8:00pm, at Hirsch West End Chapel, 1340 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights. Funeral Mass is Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Liborius Church, 71 West 35th Street, Steger. Interment at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude, Memphis, TN 38105 or Vitas Hospice, 600 Holiday Plaza, Suite 200 Matteson, IL 60443.
