Edward “Eddie” Lynn Seely
Madison-on August 13, 2008, Edward “Eddie” Lynn Seely, age 51, of Madison, WI, was at home when he passed from this world and went on to his next journey.
Eddie was born on May 21, 1957 to Norman G. and Beverly (Carlson) Seely in Madison, WI. He graduated from LaFollette High School in 1976. In 1993 he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Edgewood College. He was a Godfather to Anjelica Seely. Eddie was employed at Great Lakes Higher Education working in Budget and Finances. He was also employed at H&R Block through the tax season.
He is survived by his father; Norman, sister; Lori, uncles; Gene (Pat) Carlson of Tomah, WI and Rick (Judy) Carlson of Geronimo, OK. Known as “Uncle Ed” to Dylan Seely of Necedah, WI, Anjelica Seely of Prairie du Chien, WI and Amber Ann Fortney of Columbus, WI; very special friends; Barb King of Cazenovia, WI and Ricky Shafer of Dousman, WI and several friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother; Beverly, his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
A Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, August, 19, 2008, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
In accordance with Eddie’s wishes his remains will be cremated and scattered at a private location at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Wisconsin Heart or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
