Don Ralph Seely

Don Ralph Seely, 60, of East Mill Creek, active L.D.S. church worker for many years, died Thursday morning at his residence of carcinoma.

Mr. Seely was born in Salt Lake City April 21, 1879, a son of Isaac Joseph and Elizabeth Jane Fisher Seely. He filled two missions for the L.D.S. church, and for many years was first counselor in the Sunday school superintendency of east Mill Creek ward.

He is survived by his widow, Frances E. Seely; seven daughters, Mrs. Nora Nell of Oakridge, Ore.; Mrs. Fay Winn, Mrs. Raola S. Weenig, Mrs. Minerva S. Wiseman, Misses Ila, Alfa M. and Beth Seely; two sons, Ralph L. and Wilson Seely of Salt Lake City: a brother Arta M. Seely of Brigham City, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted in the East Mill Creek L.D.S. ward chapel, Twenty-seventh East street and Evergreen avenue, Sunday at 1 p.m. Sidney J. Ortley will officiate. Burial will be in the Elysian Burial gardens.

Friends may call at 260 East South Temple street Saturday from 2 until 7 p.m. and Sunday at the residence, 2360 Fisher’s land from 10 a.m. until time of services.
